Cranston worked at a restaurant when he was 20, and apparently everyone hated one of the chefs: “Everyone would talk about how you would kill Peter Wong. I said, ‘I think I would slice him up and put him in a wok… and put it over some sticky rice.'”
Later on, Cranston and his brother went on a motorcycle trip, and around the same time Peter Wong was murdered. The detectives started to investigate and searched for Bryan and his brother, assuming they fled the state after committing the crime. Ultimately they were cleared of all charges.
